The Sprinkler Superintendent will oversee, direct, and actively participate in installations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. This role includes maintaining quality control throughout installation, testing and commissioning, and keeping the Project Manager updated on all project details. The Superintendent must believe in and follow established processes, maintain project schedules, and support both project and service work as needed. Ultimately, this individual is responsible for meeting project goals and satisfying all stakeholders. In this role, the incumbent will also complete inspections and also support and engage with the sales cycle. 

• Manage field installations, including direct labor, materials, and expenses.
• Represent Marmic in field site meetings.
• Maintain the necessary equipment and material to effectively perform work with no lost time to fully understand, follow, and communicate contractual scope.
• Identify the scope of work.
• Communicate potential scope changes to project manager and/or sales.
• Effectively deliver scope to technicians and to subcontractors.
• Accurately and clearly document and communicate timelines, objectives, and results, etc.
• Technical writing ability to effectively communicate to clients, managers and technicians.
• On time completion and storing of daily needs logs.
• Execute close out documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain weekly updated redline drawings.
• Maintain team environment with positive communication to field technicians to insure our commitment to safety, integrity, commitment, growth, and professionalism.
• Travel, potentially for extended periods of time.
• Perform comprehensive inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they comply with local, state, and national fire codes and regulations.
• Support the sales process by coordinating with the sales team, assisting with proposals, and ensuring timely follow-ups to help close opportunities.

• Minimum 8 years of Construction experience (Fire Sprinkler)
• NICET III Inspections and Testing of Water Based Fire Sprinkler Systems
• Basic understanding of financial principles relative to operations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, be familiar with installation techniques of electrical and mechanical portions of projects.
